Social Viruses

Professor Sam Díaz-Muñoz and I co-organise biannual meetings dedicated to studying social evolution in viruses. These are small meetings of 50-75 participants, in which we bring together virologists, evolutionary biologists, and other researchers who bring diverse perspectives to the study of virus-virus interactions. We are planning the next meeting for 2026, location TBD.
